Hi, I am Amy, the founder of the Extra-Unordinary Salon, but my team like to call me ‘The Boss
Lady’
Many people ask, ‘Why that name’ and it’s because the team and I are exactly that, Extra Unordinary. You only have to come along to find that out.
I was a retail manager for 13 years and hated the corporate world; it was not for me. I wanted a change…. so I qualified in holistic therapy back in 2006 and, since then, have qualified in many other things. One of them is nails; I always say I can change the world one manicure at a time!
I live by ‘Building the empire for everyone to succeed because, for me, it’s not about greed.’
Bethan
Beautician
Meet Bethan, a talented beauty professional and member of our team at The Extra Unordinary Salon.
With her level 2 and 3 qualification in beauty, she is dedicated to providing you with exceptional service and results.
When she's not at the salon, Bethan enjoys travelling the UK, has a love for all things Disney, and immersing herself in family time.
Amy S
Creative Stylist
Amy is an experienced hairdresser of almost 20 years who believes that 'your hair is your crown'.
She is incredibly passionate about her craft and fiercely loyal to her clients. She enjoys the challenge of a transformation and loves animals, having 2 dogs of her own.
Amy has been part of our team since before the pandemic and has been a constant in the transition. She is a loud and bubbly character who is sure to make you laugh and feel completely at ease in her chair.
natasha
Beautician
Natasha brings a wealth of nine years of experience in the beauty industry to our team! While skilled in various beauty treatments, her passion lies in nails, lashes, brows, and facials. Outside of work, Natasha's heart belongs to elephants, and she dreams of encountering them in their natural habitat. Beware, initiating a conversation about candles with her may result in an endless exchange, as she is obsessed with them.
Charlotte
Beautician & Masseuse
Charlotte is a level 2 and 3 qualified beauty therapist with over 10 years of experience.
She has taken on extra courses and is now qualified in a variety of treatments. Her favourite treatments to do are eyelash extensions, nails, nail art (especially Christmas nails) and waxing. She loves the variety of her job as it offers something different every day.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with family and friends and enjoys staying in and binge-watching anything with her husband.
Tia
Graduate Stylist
Tia is our Graduate Stylist. She is a young mum and has been passionate about hair and styling since she was a child. She is ready to make her mark in the world with her innovative styles and techniques.
Tia is highly skilled in braids, tinting, and other hair techniques and is continuing to go from strength to strength.
Megan t
Graduate Stylist
Megan is our graduate stylist (Salon trained), loves vivid colour styles and challenges, as a passionate lover of haircare and styling, a great pick for going blonde or finding that tone that's just right for you. . Loves a good TikTok Vid. Lover of Animals whom is also trained in horticulture.
Chelsea
Nail Technician
Chelsea is an experienced nail technician at our Salon. She started her career as an apprentice hairdresser and has since completed a course with The Gel Bottle.
5 years ago, she became an unordinary and has since specialised in nail art. She likes to describe herself as the Picasso of nail art and loves trying new things.
When Chelsea isn't at the Salon, she enjoys spending time with her wife, Charlie and their dog Viv, or tag-teaming life with Amy.
